It appears that English alphabet system can be divided into two halves: A to L (first 13 letters) and O to Z (last 13 letters) representing two distinct worlds with M and N as buffer. A to L includes all and represents self or atom. It takes two atom to form molecule. O to Z represents other half. Interest in the outside world keeps us mixing in search of newer entities.
Transition from one phase to another is ruled by words like ‘new’ and ‘no’ which is indirectly denial to ‘new’ by staying with the old order. In Sanskrit, ‘न’ (transliterated na) means no and ‘नव’ (transliterated nav) means new. If ‘new’ motion agreed or in other words ‘no’ disagreed, there is opening of new possibilities. So, two immediate letters after N, O (letter no.15) and P (letter no.16), come into action. Open is the word which has O (letter no.15) and P (letter no.16), two successive letters after N (letter no.14) as per English alphabet system. N can be inferred as object of the word open. It is answer to the question what opens? N opens. Nope, on the other hand, is somewhat reverse of open, and so N at the beginning suggests opening has been denied by N acting as subject.
English alphabet system (containing 26 alphabets) once divided into two halves, A to M (first 13 alphabets) and N to Z (last 13 alphabets), it would be interesting to analyze each half independently. The word atom can be broken as A to M. Now, it is not A to Z. There are 26 letters in English alphabet system, and M is 13th or halfway. From chemistry point of view, molecule is defined as the smallest particle formed by two or more atoms. Thus half of molecule (denoting 26 letters or one system) is basis of one atom (denoting letter No.13). The word molecule starts with M, last letter of atom. Thus, atom + mota (backward-spelt atom) can be interpreted as M the connecting link between two atoms to form a molecule. Mota means fat in Hindi and Bengali, which in this context can be inferred as something dense to be touchable.
M (13th letter from the beginning) and N (13th letter from the end) thus act as connecting link when it comes to change from one order to another. One way to infer this is M and N are main centers or midpoints reflected in the words Middle (मध्य or Madhya in Hindi) and Mean, Median, and Mode in statistics. Note use of M and N in some key words when it comes to human evolution. Mun transliterated as मन in Hindi meaning mind, imagination, name roughly transliterated as नाम in Hindi meaning name as well. Also, in the context under discussion, मना (transliterated mana) in Hindi means forbid or deny suggesting change from existing (M) to New (N) not allowed.
O as circle is often used as tool for concentration. O is the first letter and M the last of perhaps the most powerful mantra in ancient Indian philosophy: Om (ओम). The word atom may be broken as At Om, that is, targeting Om. This Om can also be spelt as Aum that can be interpreted as a cycle that starts from A and ends at M or Moksha which is the main object of all religious practices in Jainism. M comes close to denoting me or myself. In Hindi, synonym of my is मैं (transliterated roughly as main).
M, denoting letter 13, can then be called as end of a cycle that begins with A. This can be viewed as point of reincarnation which can be also dubbed as end of mundane life making perhaps No.13 fearful for the worldly people. In Hindi (Devanagari) alphabet system, म or ma is the last of the 25 consonants divided into group of five occlusives. From optimistic perspective, a new order starts with N (letter No.14), and in Sanskrit, Nava (नव) as mentioned earlier and ‘Nutan’ (नूतन) stand for new. L (letter No.12 ) is then the last leg of journey to M. Moksha and Nirvana mean the same in Jainism. This is because end of worldly life through Moksha (M) means start of Nirvana (N).
If we go by the idea that A to M represents one atom, then a concept is proposed: it is A (letter No.1) to L (alphabet No.12) which is assumed to include all — L representing last leg of system or rather one system. A question arises: if stress is on 12 as one system, how 13 alphabets fit? This is interesting. Once the end of system is reached with L (representing leg), there has to be some buffer to help carry forward with the next phase of journey. M (alphabet No. 13) and N (alphabet No.14) act as connecting space or buffer. M and N can be perceived as period when soul (atom) remains in womb. One of the first words a baby utters is mom, mummy, maa, or ammi. Double L in Allah, prominent word in Islam, perhaps too serves the purpose of buffer as well in the context under discussion: a lift with half L and then full L; additionally, A is the first letter and H the last in Devanagari alphabet system.
The equivalent of A to L from one angle is O to Z (alphabet No. 15 to 26, chain of last 12 letters). O and P open or ooze up whole host of new possibilities once again. Relevant here would be to take a look at the word news. This is transliterated in Hindi as ‘न्यूज़’ or ‘newz.’ In newz, there is reference to know of the whole story from N to Z. Interesting again is the fact that as news is something extrovert in nature, there has to be an association with something external. If A to M represents atom or soul (atom can also be roughly transliterated in Hindi as आत्म or आतम, meaning soul), its association with outside world is only through other atoms interacting with which a molecule formed. It is interest in the outside world that compels us to focus on what is happening outside through senses and what soul (atom) seeks to get is newz!
Going by the above logic, first half (A to M) represents inner side while N to Z represents outer side: In has I (letter no. 9) and N (letter no. 14), that is, both the letters within proximity of first half taking into account M and N as buffer zone; Out has O (letter no. 15), U (letter no. 21), and T (letter no. 20), distinctly all the three letters outside the first half. Again, I my inner self with letter from the first half (I is letter no. 9) and you someone from outside with all the three letters from the second half (Y letter no. 25, O letter no. 15, and U letter no. 21). On bottle and in bottle denote surface while transitioning from one medium to another.
Though not related with the direct topic, let us analyze formation of word about. In your first mathematics class, the teacher discusses ABCs of mathematics and what is out from the class is Ab+Out=About elements of mathematics.
